Crud War

Last Sunday we had our annual WyldLife Crud War, which is basically a huge outdoor food fight.  We had a tug-o-war, a greasy watermelon pass relay, and threw water balloons, flour, shaving cream, and oatmeal on each other.  We had about 200 kids there and all of them seemed to have a great time.  I went up to Lake Highlands Junior High yesterday for lunch and talked to a group of 7th grade guys and all they could talk about was how much fun they had.  While I was talking to them a boy that did not go on Sunday asked, "When's the next crud war gonna be?"  When I told him that it was going to be next year he got a little sad, because he knew he had missed out!  But I told him that we had WyldLife Club next week and he smiled and said he'd be there.

Starting Up

I never thought I'd see the day that I would be starting a blog...  But recently I've been inspired by a few friends and their immaculate efforts towards informing others about their ministry and I feel that I have been doing myself and all of you a disservice by not keeping you in the loop!  So from now on I will provide all of you with stories, pictures, and perhaps videos of everything "WyldLife" so you can see what all is going on in Lake Highlands.
